Originally built in 1869, the Mena House Oberoi is the place to stay for a true experience of Egypt’s glorious past. Set in 40 acres of jasminescented gardens with the Pyramid of Cheops towering above, the hotel has been lovingly maintained to capture the atmosphere of its original era. Rooms retain a traditional décor yet have been modernised to offer the amenities of a luxury hotel. The 500 air-conditioned rooms, located in the Palace and the newer Garden section, where the standard rooms are found, all feature private facilities, balcony, satellite TV, telephone, mini fridge and hairdryer.
Dining options include Continental, Indian and international cuisine, as well as a number of bars. A swimming pool, tennis courts and an 18-hole, 2-fairway golf course is adjacent to the property.
The Hotel is currently undergoing a renovation programme. Call our Reservations Department for an update.
