A fine hotel with good all-round facilities, the Hilton Taba Resort makes a great base from which to explore the local area, either on dry land or in the water.

Location: Adjacent to the Taba border crossing, directly on the Red Sea.

Rooms: 400 air-conditioned rooms, all featuring private facilities, satellite TV, radio, telephone and mini bar.

Cuisine: Nelson Village pub and restaurant serving breakfast and dinner buffets with an à la carte menu for lunch; half board meals are to be taken in this restaurant. Other restaurants offering evening cuisine include Marhaba Oriental restaurant and Casa Taba Italian and seafood restaurant. Light snacks and beverages are available from the Nelson lounge, the Shish Bish Café and the beach bar.

Entertainment: The Hotel offers a varied entertainment programme as well as a casino.

Sport & Leisure: 2 Swimming pools (1 heated in winter) and Jacuzzi plus a diving and water sports centre. 5 floodlit tennis courts (pay locally), beach volleyball, table tennis, billiards, darts, chess and backgammon are also available.

Special Facilities: Children’s club (minimum age 4) plus babysitting service (pay locally). 24-hour room service.
