The Sunrise MS Terramar provides the highest standard of accommodation, with spacious interiors, tasteful décor and furnishings and an intimate and friendly ambience.

There are four decks on the Sunrise MS Terramar, three with cabins. There is a small swimming pool, sun deck, restaurant, lounge bar with dance area and library.

Activities on board include billiards, whirlpool, gym (minimum age 16 years) massage.

There are 20 suites on this vessel. The external suites are located on the lower decks and have king size beds plus an extra bed if required and individually controlled air conditioning. The suites have TV, and full bathroom with integral hairdryer. The prices are based on 2 adults sharing on Full Board basis. External suites on the upper deck and external suites for sole use (upper deck and lower deck) are available at a supplement.

Please note that Nile Cruises are not suitable for people with walking difficulties.

Children aged 6 and under are unable to travel on this cruise boat.

MS Sunrise Terramar Nile Cruise Itinerary

Discover ancient Egypt as you cruise down the Nile.

Day 1 (Wednesday)

After being met on your arrival at Luxor airport you will be taken to your chosen cruise ship. Diner will be served on board with an overnight stay on board in Luxor.

Day 2 (Thursday)

After breakfast on board you will visit the East Bank of the Nile, including Karnak and Luxor Temples. Lunch and dinner will be served on board with an overnight stay on board in Luxor.

Day 3 (Friday)

After breakfast on board you will visit the West Bank, this will include the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut’s Temple in the Valley of the Queens and Memnon Colossi. Lunch and dinner will be served on board and then you sail to Edfu for on board overnight stay.

Day 4 (Saturday)

Breakfast on board and then visit to Edfu Temple. Afternoon sailing to Kom Ombo and visit to the Temple of Haroeris and Sobek in Kom Ombo. Lunch and dinner to be served on board while we sail to Aswan, overnight on board in Aswan.

Day 5 (Sunday)

After breakfast on board the morning will be spent visiting the Aswan High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple. Panoramic sailing on board a felucca passing the Aga Khan’s Mausoleum, followed by a visit to the Botanical Gardens. An optional tour of Aswan is available in the afternoon, lunch and dinner served on board, overnight on board in Aswan.

Day 6 (Monday)

After breakfast on board there is an optional morning visit by air or coach to Abu Simbel (local charge). Afternoon sailing to Edfu, lunch and dinner will be served on board and overnight on board in Edfu.

Day 7 (Tuesday)

Breakfast on board and morning sailing to Luxor. Lunch and dinner served on board and overnight on board in Luxor.

Day 8 (Wednesday)

Breakfast and lunch on board before disembarking mid-afternoon and returning to Luxor Airport for your return flight home or for your onward transport to your chosen hotel for the remainder of your holiday.

There is a tab system operated on board the ship where all extras are billed to your cabin and settled at the end of your cruise. Tips are not included, drinks are only included when booking All Inclusive on your chosen boat.

  • Please note that the itinerary may be amended if local conditions deem it necessary.
  • Tipping (known as baksheesh) is a way of life in Egypt and guests should be prepared for this when visiting the country or cruising on the Nile
  • Because they are mechanical it may be necessary (in rare circumstances) to substitute a Nile cruise vessel, in this event a similar or better standard boat would be used.
