Be charmed by the fascinating scenery of the banks of the river Nile while travelling on the  MS Nile Beauty.
This comfortable Nile cruise boat is equipped with a lobby with reception, a restaurant which has a capacity for 110 people and international and oriental cuisine, 2 bars and a lounge bar. Beyond this  you will find on the boat a boutique, laundry service, bank service, billiards and a sports corner. The swimming pool and the sun loundges are located on the sun deck .
In the evening there is a large variety of shows and entertainment programme available to you.

Cabins

Each of the 46 cabins is equipped with bath with shower and WC, minibar, individual air-conditioning, TV and telephone.

Food and Beverage

The restaurant offera for breakfast, lunch and for dinner a rich buffet in a friendly atmosphere. Occasionally set menus for lunch and dinner will be served. During tea time in the afternoon, coffee and cake are available.

Itinerary

Day 1

Depart from either London Gatwick or Manchester, fly direct to Luxor. On arrival transfer to the MS Nile Beauty Nile cruise ship to begin your journey along the Nile.

Day 2

After breakfast on board you will travel to the West Bank of Thebes. Visit the final resting place of a succession of mighty pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings, littered with intricate tombs - beautifully coloured and decorated with hieroglyphics.  Whilst on the West Bank discover the Temple of Hatshepsut, the famous female Pharaoh, and see the gigantic statues of the Colosi of Memnon. In the afternoon, visit the East Bank to see the Temples of Luxor and Karnak. The Luxor Temple was erected by Amenophis III as a palace for Mut, the vulture-headed wife of the God Amun.

Day 3

Enjoy a day at leisure where you can take advantage of the ship’s facilities or enjoy one of the optional excursions - including an early morning hot air balloon ride of half day visit to Denderah. In the evening thre is a further option to visis the sound and light show at Karnak Temple.

Day 4

Enjoy a day sailing to Aswan. On the way, visit the Edfu Temple. Edfu is home to the wonderfully preserved Temple of Horus dedicated to the falcon-headed God of the Sun and Plants. Return to your ship for lunch and continue on towards Aswan via Kom Ombo where you may visit the Sobek Temple two gods, Sobek and Horus.

Day 5

The day begins with a half-day visit to the Philae Temple dedicated to the gentle Goddess Isis. You can also visit the High Dam built in the 1960’s to save Egypt from devastating floods. You will also see the unfinished Obelisk set in the granite quarries of Aswan. After lunch, enjoy a felucca ride (traditional Egytian sailing boat) along the Nile before dinner.

Day 6

Today allows time to enjoy the ship’s facilities or take an optional excursion to Abu Simbel (by air or by bus), the great sun temple built by Ramses II who had four gigantic statues of imself hewn into the mountainside to confront travellers as they enter Egypt from Africa. Another option is to take a trip to an Aswan Nubian Village and National Park.

Day 7

A leisurely sailing to Luxor via Esna allows a leisurely day on board.

Day 8

After breakfast disembark from your ship before transferring to the airport for your return flight home.
