There are 74 cabins onboard the MS Stephanie Nile Cruise ship which are around 20 sq metres in area. All cabins have a Juliette style balcony, minibar, colour TV and DVD player, air-conditioning, and good sized stylish bathrooms.
The MS Stephanie Nile cruise also has a swimming pool on the smart sundeck, as well as a bar. There are fitness facilites available, a restaurant and bar, as well as a gift shop and and beauty shop.
MS Stephanie Nile Cruise Itinerary
Day 1
You are met at Luxor Airport and transferred to the MS Stephanie where you will have dinner onboard. Overnight at Luxor.
Day 2
After enjoying your first Egyptian sunrise you will follow a morning tour to the East Banl of the Nile with a visit to Luxor Temple, originallly joined to Karnak by an avenue of Sphinx and the Karnak Temple which covers a huge area and includes several temples with the Temple of Amun being the most impressive. Afternoon sees you sail to Esna where you will visit the Temple of Khnum, the ram-headed god who was the patron god of the cataracts and is said have fashioned mankind using Nile clay on his potter’s wheel. The MS Stephanie will then sail on to Edfu and moor overnight.
Day 3
Wednesday begins with a morning visit to the spectacular Temple of Horus the mythical son of Osiris and Isis in Edfu. According to myth, it is here that Horus avenged the murder of his father Osiris by defeating his father’s brother Seth during combat. In the afternoon the MS Stephanie sails on to Aswan where you will remain overnight.
Day 4
You will today visit the High Dam at Aswan, the unfinished Obelisk which remains rooted on pink granite and the Temple of Isis on Philae Island. After lunch you enjoy a feluca trip around Elephantine Island and then progress to Botanical Gardens on Kitchener’s island. In the evening there will be a Nubian show as you again overnight in Aswan.
Day 5
Today ther is an optional excursion to the wonder of Abu Simbel by air or by road. Otherwise, those who do not choose to visit Abu Simbel will be able to enjoy some free time to explore Aswan city and its markets. Again you will spend the night in Aswan.
Day 6
MS Stephanie sails to Kom Ombo in order to visit the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris. It then sails on to Luxor stopping at the Edfu Temple for clients who joined the boat in Aswan whilst others will relax onboard the sun deck. Sail back to Esna and moor overnight.
Day 7
Sunday starts with a visit to the West Bank to the Valley of Kings, Valley of Queens, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. In the evening enjoy the famed Belly Dance show on board MS Stephanie. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 8
Check out by 11.00. There are optional excursions available such as the hot air balloon ride or you may spend time in Luxor at your leisure before being transferred back to Luxor airport for your return flight back to the UK.
Please note that the order or content of your itinerary may be amended due to unforseen circumstances. Occassionally, due to operational difficulties a change of vessel may occur but the itinerary will remain unaffected.
Traditionally a tip is expected on Nile Cruises. On the MS Stephanie it is around £4 per person per night which includes coach drivers, bell boys, housekeeping staff, crew, food and beverage staff and all off the boat tipping. Additional tipping is not expected. Credit cards are accepted onboard the MS Stephanie.
