RAII was built by the English company Tempest Diesels in Yorkshire and is classified by Bureau Veritas to the highest river craft standard. The RAII is a good choice for guests requiring a superior category of boat at a competitive price. Cabins RaII offers guest 83 air-conditioned cabins each with private facilities, balcony (except single cabins), double-glazed windows, mini bar, hairdryer, TV and video system, a sound system, and telephones. Cuisine The RAII features a large dining room offering International buffet style meals which are served in the large attractive dining room with the capacity to seat all guests at a single sitting. There is also a large lounge bar and a patio bar as well as a coffee shop. Entertainment On-board entertainment includes a sizeable bar Sport & Leisure RAII’ s on-deck features include a swimming pool, a sun deck with bar, a recreation area, a gymnasium, and two Jacuzzis, offering plenty of activities for guests of all ages and interests. RAII Itinerary
Day 1 – Depart from the UK for your flight to Luxor. On arrival, you will be met at the airport and transferred to the RAII for an evening check-in. Overnight is spent in Luxor.
Day 2 – In the morning you will visit the Luxor Museum. After lunch, your excursion will take you to the Temples of Karnak and Luxor on the East Bank. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 3 – In the morning, visit the highlights of the West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon sail via the Esna Lock to edfu. Overnight in Edfu.
Day 4 – In the morning visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu before continuing along the Nile, mid-morning, to Kom Ombo. In the afternoon visit the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris in Kom Ombo and then continue on to Aswan. Overnight in Aswan.
Day 5 – After breakfast, spend the day exploring the sights of Aswan with a visit to the High Dam and the Temple of Philae in the morning and a relaxing trip on a felucca past the Agha Khan Mausoleum and Elephantine Island in the afternoon. Overnight in Aswan.
Day 6 – Spend the morning at leisure in Aswan, with the option of a trip to Abu Simbel (additional cost payable locally). In the afternoon, sail from Aswan to Edfu. Overnight in Edfu.
Day 7 – In the morning, sail from Edfu to Esna. Visit the Temple of Khnum at Esna before crossing the lock and continuing on to Luxor in the afternoon. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 8 – After breakfast, disembark the RAII and transfer to Luxor Airport for your return flight to the UK.
